A travel expert says it's hugely embarrassing for Dublin Airport that a man managed to board a flight without the correct documentation or boarding pass.
The 48 year old managed to make it through security and onto a plane for Birmingham on Monday night.
He was then removed and appeared in court yesterday.
Eoghan Corry from Air and Travel Magazine says security may be increased as a result.
"It's hugely embarrassing for the airport and people who will remember the big security queues, the problems that we had last summer. What inevitably happens after an event like this is that security with be upscaled."
"That will mean extra checks on everybody going through so it could cause security queues to slow down a little bit."
