A diver in his 30s has died off the coast of Donegal after an incident yesterday afternoon, reports breakingnews.ie.
The diver was airlifted from a boat off Inishowen to Letterkenny University Hospital at around 1pm.
It has now been confirmed the diver passed away.
The alarm was raised after Malin Head Coastguard received a report of a diver who was unconscious on a dive boat north of Malin Head.
It is not known if the man was a local resident or not.
