An Bord Pleanala has upheld a decision to allow it to proceed, after a councillor raised concerns that it was a money grabbing decision.

However, Dublin Airport Authority says there are no 'current' plans to introduce the charges.

Senator Emer Currie thinks the messaging is confusing for passengers.

'I'm obviously disappointed that An Board Pleanala has been given the green light, but I have to say I'm a little bit confused about the messaging from Dublin Airport, yesterday there was a tweet from Dublin Airport that just said there are no current plans to introduce these charges but I think they really need to be clear with us.'
