An online fundraiser has been set up to support the devastated families
A GoFundMe appeal has been set up by Ards native Gerard McFadden, who is now living in Brisbane, Australia.
And there has been a rush of support from people all over the world.
So far almost €50,000 has been donated by such generous people.

Speaking to Donegal Daily today, Gerard expressed his shock for his family and friends back home and said: “I feel that I’m out here and so helpless, so I started the GoFundMe page to play a part.
“The funds will go to the people who are injured and the families of the people who have died.
"When things settle, we will be sitting down and working out what is best for the families and making sure they get this support.”
