A man has been killed in a crash in County Monaghan.
The incident between a car and van happened at around 6:15 this morning at Moneygorbet near Castleblaney.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20's was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
A man in his 20's who was a passenger in the car and a man in his 50's who was driving the van have been taken to the same hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road is closed with diversions in place as Gardaí carry out a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
