The rules were scrapped last night.
COVID-19 international travel requirements are no longer in place for people travelling to this country.
Yesterday, Health Minister Stephen Donnelly signed the regulations, which were then scrapped at midnight.
It means people arriving in Ireland don't now need to show proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative PCR test.
The Minister said the action was taken quickly to remove these travel requirements, so as to decrease any obstacles for people coming from Ukraine to Ireland.
Eoghan Corry, Editor of Air and Travel Magazine, said it's good news.
"It's another big step back to normality. It means the paperwork will no longer be required at the airport," he said.
"It also means that the Digitial Covid cert, which enabled us to travel since July, will not be required for international travel," he added.
Eoghan Corry also said however that it's important to remember that passenger locator forms are still required by other countries.
He mentioned that the Digital Covid cert may still be needed in other countries for other activities and local events.
Eoghan Corry also added that it's still important for people to remember that Covid is still a presence:
"You must not fly or travel if you suffer from covid symptoms."
