The Union of Students in Ireland has welcomed the government's announcement of free condoms for third level colleges.
The contraception scheme will be implemented from September.
Health Minister Simon Harris says it's aimed at reducing the number of crisis pregnancies, increasing awareness around sexually transmitted infections and improving sexual health.
