A 13-year-old boy has been taken to hospital, after he was hit by a car in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, the Irish Mirror reports.
The incident reportedly happened when the boy was walking across a zebra crossing at the junction between the Newtown Road and the Dublin Road.
The driver is said to have remained at the scene. The condition of the boy is not yet known.
