A black liquid has been thrown at the J.P. Morgan Building at Dublin's Grand Canal Dock by climate protestors this afternoon.
A rally, organised by 'Climate Justice Coalition Ireland', marched from the Bord Gáis Theatre to the GPO, calling for government action to tackle the Climate Crisis.
They're calling for all banks and larger corporations to turn their backs on fossil fuels.
Founder of Ecojustice Ireland, Declan Owens, says the end destination of Jim Larkin's statue was chosen for a specific reason "the hashtag that we have, the theme that we have for the march is now we rise." Owens continues "if you look at the inscription at Larkin statue, he a famous phrase from the French revolution, let us rise."
