The incident happened in the early hours this morning.
Two men in their early 20s have died following a road crash in Co Clare in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened shortly after midnight in Quinspools, Parteen.
It is understood only one vehicle was involved in the incident.
The bodies of the two men remain at the scene, where a forensic investigation is due to get under way.
Two other men in their early 20s were seriously injured in the incident, and have been taken to University Hospital Limerick.
The road remains closed and local diversions are in place.
