Children are reporting physical effects like tiredness, sore eyes and stomach pains after online gaming.
That's one of the findings of a new survey of kids from third to sixth class by Barnardos.
It found nearly one in five children say they always or often find it difficult to stop playing video games, while half surveyed say they've seen cyberbullying and mean messages sent to other kids.
Barnardos CEO Suzanne Connolly says there are problems with playing video games for too long:
"If a child is playing for too long first of all, they are going to feel tired.
"That's the same for adults, I could get tired, that sort of thing can happen.
"In terms of stomach aches, it could be that the child is hungry, because they have spent so much time [gaming] they haven't had their snack."
