Serious issues with access to child mental health services

19 out of 26 counties have no acute beds in child mental health services.

According to figures obtained by Fianna Fáil, there's just 74 acute beds available for children nationwide.

They're in Community Healthcare Organisations in Dublin, Cork and Galway, but 5 other's covering 19 counties have none at all.

Fianna Fáil mental health spokesperson James Browne says it means some children are receiving care in adult facilities:
