A state of emergency's been declared in British Columbia after wildfires hit Canada.
Thousands of people had to leave their homes as firefighters tackled blazes in Kelowna, a city in British Columbia.
Further north, residents in Yellowknife were guided through fire zones in their cars away from flames.
There are currently over 1-thousand active blazes across the country.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's been visiting those affected.
"The federal government is there with significant military assets. We're co-ordinating the air evacuations, we're making sure we're there to respond to all the needs of community."
Over the past two days, thousands of Yellowknife residents have been forced to evacuate their homes because of devastating wildfires. Without hesitation, cities across Canada stepped up to help them – for example, Edmonton’s Expo Centre was quickly opened as an evacuation centre.
