The latest report into underpayments at RTE raises more questions than answers.
The Grant Thornton report concluded on the balance of probabilities the reason RTE reported the incorrect salary paid to Ryan Tubridy, was to make the payments appear smaller than half a million euro a year.
The Oireachtas Media and Public Accounts Committees want to hear from the board and management team at the State broadcaster again as a matter of urgency.
PAC member Imelda Munster says the report shows deliberate action was taken to mislead the public.
'It's raised more questions than answers. It again shows the deliberate process by those in RTE management to deceive and mislead. It shows that they went ahead and published those figures ignoring their own pay roll system and knowing full well that those figures were understated.'
