It's led to some calls for more workplaces to become pet-friendly - with Dogs Trust saying it wants to start the conversation.
The charity says it would be a benefit for the dog and its owner.
Ciara Byrne is head of communications at Dogs Trust - she says minor changes in offices could make it work:
"We would advise that you have an item that they're familiar with from home, like a little bed or something.. definitely have something for them to chew on to keep them entertained".
Ciara says you should also make sure your colleagues are happy for you to bring your dog in.
