Calls for bans on car and flight ads

There are calls for a ban on advertising for flights and some cars.

People Before Profit also wants ads on fossil fuels to be banned to protect the environment.

TD Paul Murphy is proposing the legislation.

He says large companies are negatively influencing people.

He claims car companies are falsely "greenwashing" the truth about cars that emit fossil fuels.

The TD claims that people should be "freed" from the influence of the ads, the same way tobacco ads were restricted.
