It was discovered on a road in Celbridge today.
The body of a woman has been found in Co Kildare.
The discovery was made on the Clane Road just outside Celbridge this afternoon.
A post-mortem is taking place.
Gardaí say the body has not been formally identified. However, they're not treating the discovery as suspicious.
A spokesperson told the Irish Mirror:
"Body of a female discovered this afternoon.
"No formal identification at this stage.
"Post-mortem scheduled to be conducted tomorrow."
The news comes as searches continue in that area for missing Kildare woman Margaret Dorrian.

She disappeared after walking to Tesco to do her shopping.
The last sighting of her was captured on CCTV and shows Margaret walking along the Celbridge to Straffan Road.
