The head of the BBC's to be questioned for the first time over allegations an unnamed star paid thousands of pounds for sexually explicit images of a teenager.
The teenager at the centre of a controversy involving an unnamed BBC presenter says "nothing unlawful" happened between them.
The parents and The Sun newspaper - which published the claims - maintain they're true, although the young person has called the story "rubbish".
The Sun - which first reported the claims - maintains it's seen evidence to support the concerns.
Former BBC presenter Roger Bolton says the tabloid should come under scrutiny:
"Don't leap to conclusions. That's what we've learned from this and I think there are big questions for The Sun. Where's your evidence? Why won't you publish and why are you asking the BBC to do something you don't want to do?"
