The IHF says there is no place for vapes in Ireland.
The Irish Heart Foundation has called for an outright ban on disposable vapes.
It's being proposed after the Cabinet introduced a bill on Tuesday to ban the sale of vapes to under 18s.
Minister of State, Ossian Smyth, has announced plans to launch a public consultation on disposable e-cigarettes.
The IHF's Advocacy Manager, Mark Murphy, says there's no place for them in Ireland:
'They can damage adolescent brain development.'
'We think there should be no place for disposable vapes on the Irish market because they're highly appealing to young people.'
