By bedtime tonight 44 per cent of children will have gorged on three or more Easter eggs
That's according to a new survey by bed manufacturer, Silentnight.
Two in five children wake up early on Easter Sunday for a chocolatey breakfast.
Across the weekend, 98% of kids will eat chocolate eggs,.
Silentnight is advising that parents should also be mindful of potential sleep disruption, as increased sugar intake can have an impact on a nights' sleep.
Over one third of parents say the chocolate affects their child's sleep.
