The new policy comes into effect later this year.
Female Aer Lingus cabin crew members won't be required to wear make-up at work from this November.
The airline has confirmed the move as part of its new policy.
In a statement, Aer Lingus said the new uniform is designed "to reflect changing dress norms and to better meet the needs of our guest-facing colleagues".
Female staff will also no longer be obliged to wear skirts. Their new uniforms later this year will include trouser options.
The confirmation comes soon after Virgin Atlantic announced that female cabin crew are to be allowed to work without wearing make-up and to wear trousers in their signature red uniforms.
