Gardai investigating suspected staged road accidents, have arrested a 43-year-old man.
The suspect was taken in for questioning after a search in North County Dublin this morning.
The Garda National Economic Crime Bureau has also searched a Dublin solicitor's office as part of the investigation.
He's detained under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Dublin Garda Station and can be held for up to 24 hours.
The investigation is ongoing.
