It happened just outside Dunboyne yesterday
Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a single-car crash in County Meath yesterday.
It happened near Dunboyne yesterday afternoon.
The man was driving his car when it crashed on the R154 at Piercetown near Dunboyne at around half 2 yesterday afternoon.
He was the only person in the car and was brought from the scene by ambulance to St James's Hospital in Dublin, where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene has been technically examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí in Ashbourne are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who were travelling in on the R154 near Dunboyne at the time of the collision who may have camera footage (including dash cam), is asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
