Eight in 10 junior doctors are working unsafe and illegal hours.
A survey by the Irish Medical Organisation has been released ahead of its AGM in Kerry later this week.
Three-quarters of junior doctors say they don't feel valued or respected by employers.
Chair of the Non-Consultant Hospital Doctor Committee at the IMO, Dr. Rachel McNamara says an agreement on working hours was struck over a year ago:
"We're still seeing that 83% of NCHDs are still being routinely expected to work in excess of that".
She goes on to say that the agreement is being ignored by many.
