1 in 3 EV drivers anxious about range

30% of electric vehicle drivers still cite range anxiety as their biggest concern.

New research from DoneDeal shows that 90% of EV drivers report a saving since switching to electric.

But nearly a fifth-ranked a lack of charging infrastructure as their primary worry.

€100 million is to be invested in developing necessary charging equipment and infrastructure by 2025.

Motoring Editor at the Sunday Independent, Geraldine Herbert thinks that its long overdue:

"We always seem to be playing catchup when it comes to the infrastructure so I think you know, the time to invest was then [2019]".
