Let's save ya some mindless flicking through Netflix. The streaming service has a massive amount of content at your fingertips over the festive season.

Here's a breakdown of what to watch, depending what you're in the mood for.

Need a bit of a laugh? Try Single All the Way

Desperate to avoid his family’s judgment about his perpetual single status, Peter convinces his best friend Nick to join him for the holidays and pretend that they're now in a relationship. But when Peter’s mother sets him up on a blind date with her handsome trainer James, the plan goes astray.

Fancy a classic? Love Actually and The Holiday are solid festive favourites.

Love Actually is on Netflix this year! If you haven't watched this one yet, it follows eight couples across London who try to deal with their relationships in very different ways. Expect love, heartbreak, wholesome family moments, weddings and emotions reunions at airports. Here's the trailer:

The Holiday is also on the streaming site and is a great easy-watch. It follows two gals who're fed up of being stuck in relationships with unfaithful men. On a whim, LA-based Amanda and Londoner Iris decide to swap homes for the holidays. However, their lives change unexpectedly when they meet and fall in love with two locals.

Like musicals? Try Robin Robin.

When her egg fortuitously rolls into a rubbish dump, Robin is raised by a loving family of mice. As she grows up, her differences become more apparent. Robin sets off on the heist to end all heists to prove to her family that she can be a really good mouse – but ends up discovering who she really is.
