The man is due to appear in Dublin District Court at 4pm.

A man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenage boy.

He’s due before a sitting of the Dublin District Court later this afternoon.

The victim can’t be named due to reporting restrictions under the Children’s Act.

It prohibits the release of any information which could lead to the identification of any child that’s been the victim of a crime.

A Garda press release says: “Gardaí in Store Street have charged the man who was arrested in relation to the fatal stabbing incident that occurred on East Wall Road on Tuesday 26th January, 2021.

“He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (Court 2) this afternoon, Saturday 30th January, 2021 at 4.00pm.”
