Music icon Madonna has urged her fans to “wake up” and push for strict gun laws in America.

The singer shares her strong views on gun control in a hard-hitting new video for a song called Gun Control.

It depicts a shooting in a night-club, showing people being injured and killed by gunfire.

The release of the video follows a number of tweets in which Madonna appealed to people to “insist on common-sense gun safety legislation.”

She urged her followers to “honour the victims” of gun violence by demanding gun control and also supporting organisations that campaign on this issue.
