Over a fifth of Irish workers are now fully remote.
A new Leitrim County Council survey shows more than half of those working remotely say it has a very positive impact on their work-life balance.
Four in ten think remote work has positively affected their spending, as there's less need to commute.
Leitrim County Council Chief Executive, Lar Power says many want to move to another part of the country:
"Quite interestingly, more than half of the Irish workers are considering moving to another part of the country. The highest cohort within that at 61% of the 25-34 bracket are considering a move to another part of the country. So they're very startling findings."
