The words of a wise old man.
Sometimes it doesn't take in depth talk shows and forensic analysis to sum up a situation.
There's often no need to listen to debates or tune read lengthy articles.
Occasionally all it takes is an incredibly blunt assessment to perfectly sum up how the majority of the population is feeling...
And one old man is bring praised for doing exactly that, for his take on the debacle that is... Brexit.
In a video posted by ITV Wales journalist Rob Osborne, he stops an older gentleman on the street to ask him what he thinks of a potential no-deal Brexit.
His answer? Sh*t.
I love getting the word on the street. pic.twitter.com/N2H14kaJvs

So simple, yet so insightful.
His summary has so far been viewed more than 235,000 times and counting.
As you can imagine, the short and to-the-point approximation of the entire Brexit debacle is a refreshing take for people sick to death of listening to politicians bicker like school children.
And twitter responded with praise for the mystery wise old man.
Put him on the news. BBC, ITV, Sky. All of them. And repeat it on the hour, every hour. Most sensible bloke I've seen interviewed.

Why did I not see that on the news? ??

Excellent. During the leadership contest “man on street” told us they wanted Boris Johnson to win because he was like a red button with “do not press” written on it...and you just want to press it. ?
