Good news for those that can never remember to charge their phone...
Samsung are aiming to find a solution to the longstanding issue of phone battery life.
In a collaboration with IBM, the phone provider are trying out a new 'semiconductor design.'
Through the internal makeup of the microchips found inside of phones - they are making a bold claim.
Samsung believe their next range of phones will have batteries that last up to a week.

According to tech website The Verge, they could have "cell phone batteries that could go over a week without being charged."
So when will the longer battery life and the phones that have them be on the shelves?
According to The Verge it could be awhile yet as they'd have to overhaul the Samsung internal makeup.
Companies such as Intel are also looking into developing chips with longer battery life and their products could hit the market as early as 2024.
