Health officials in Los Angeles are urging people there not to vape - while five deaths in the US possibly linked to e-cigarettes are investigated.
People have also died from similar lung conditions in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Oregon.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 450 people around the US have illnesses that may have been caused by vaping.
