The most stressful time of Christmas day is precisely 9.37am
Four in ten people find the big day stressful - according to a poll of 2,000 adults who celebrate the festive season.
The thing that causes the most stress is getting the dinner timings spot on.
One in five people worries someone might say something controversial at the dinner table on Christmas Day.
And for 19% the annual grilling by relatives about their love lives sends them into a frenzy.
But for some, the time stress levels peak is when the Christmas Eve hangover hits its peak.
Research commissioned by I heart Wines, found that at 9:37 am people pop open a bottle of wine - as 62% admit normal food and drink rules go out the window.
The average person starts prepping for Christmas 14 days in advance - but at 10:02 am all these plans are scrapped.
Dani Buckley from the wine brand said: “Putting on the ‘perfect’ Christmas can be incredibly stressful, so why not just embrace the chaos."
