Get ready for the Red Bull Wings for Life World Run!
Across the world, millions of people depend on a wheelchair because of a spinal cord injury.
This usually happens after a fall or a traffic accident.
Red Bull Wings for Life has one mission – to find a cure for spinal cord injury.
It’s a non-profile research foundation that has funded life-changing projects since 2004.
Once a year, the Wings for Life World Run sees participants start at the same time worldwide and run to raise funds for spinal cord research.
You can take part virtually using the Wings for Life World Run app or take part in one of the flagship runs.
It doesn’t matter how fast or far you can run – it’s all about having fun!
Thirty minutes after the start, the Catcher Cars will pick up the chase and overtake runners one after another.
If you take part on the app, this is done virtually but there are real Catcher Cars at the flagship events!
A cure is still to be found for spinal cord injury, but steady progress has been made.
100% of entry fees and donations will go directly to spinal cord research.
1,559,534 people with 195 nationalities have taken part in the Wings for Life World Run so far, raising €51.93 million to help find a cure for spinal cord injury.
You can join the fight and take part too!
The Red Bull Wings for Life World Run starts simultaneously around the world at 11:00 am UTC / 12pm Irish time on Sunday May 4th, 2025.
