One in five say they've lost their temper with Alexa

There's nothing worse than asking Alexa for something simple - only for it to comnpletely misunderstand you.

But if you've found yourself getting hot under the collar at the little personal assistant from time to time - take solas in the fact you're definitely not alone. Especially if you're from one particular midlands county!

People from Westmeath are most likely to lash out at Alexa, according to a new survey.

The research carried out by Pure Telecom also found nearly half of people in Kerry change their speech to improve voice recognition.

Of the one thousand people surveyed over 70 per cent said they use voice assistants on the likes of phones or smart speakers.

About one in five say they've yelled at their device - with 38 per cent of people in Westmeath getting riled up by the technology.
