The most stressful time of day is 7:23am - with the first daily drama typically happening by 8:18am.
A study of 2,000 people revealed the top 50 everyday stresses, with being stuck in traffic coming top and waking up late also featuring.
Individuals experience an average of three dramas a day, with women having their first around 7:50am, while men last until 8:43am. Among the list were spilling something down clothing, burning food and tripping over in public.
Dr Jolanta Burke from the RCSI spoke to RTE about how even some of the small daily stresses can affect your health:
"Those daily hassles are more detrimental to our health then maybe even the big traumas that we experience."
"When big traumas happen, we often get support from others. We might even give ourselves a pat on our back for dealing well with some adversities. But when a whole load of small, bad things happen - like, for example, those daily hassles - we tend not to give ourselves a break."
"We tend to blame ourselves for not feeling well with what we're experiencing and there is nobody with lasagna on the doorstep helping us through it."
