A new report on workplace equality has found almost all workers say companies should be open about how much their staff are paid.
92 per cent of those surveyed said pay transparency is important in tackling discrimination.
The latest Workplace Equality Report by Matrix Recruitment, found 46 per cent would speak to their boss if they found out a colleague of the opposite sex was being paid more for the same work.
Regional Recruitment Manager with Matrix Recruitment, Breda Dooley, says workers want to know they're being paid fairly:
"92 percent believe that pay transparency is very important at the moment."
"44 percent of respondents said they know of a colleague of the opposite sex with the same role and responsibilities being paid more than them, and again women featured as the ones being most impacted by this."
