Who's taking out the bins today?
It's a question that has caused many a fight between housemates.
However that debate is about to be laid to rest thanks to a bin that now takes itself out. Smartcan is a self-driving wheelie bin that drags itself out to the curb on bin day.
What a time to be alive.
Homeowners simply place a metallic base with AI-powered wheels underneath their bin. You can then set the day you want your rubbish taken out on a downloadable app called SmartCan, and jot down the distance between the two docking stations. One of the stations will be close to your home or back door while the other will be out by the road.
After the bin is emptied, it automatically knows to return to the docking station at the your home. Genius!
