A new survey has found parents spend 52 hours a month driving children to activities - adding up to 624 hours a year.
Although it might seem like a chore, spending time in the car with your kids also has some silver linings.
36 per cent of respondents to the survey said they like driving children around because they chat more in the car.
45 per cent say they've stayed up later than they liked at the weekends to pick up their child from a party.
While the survey by webuyanycar.com, also found 57 per cent of parents have never once been thanked by their child for giving them a lift.
