Parents are also willing to hide in the bathroom to get a break from their child.

Only 14% of parents get enough “parenting breaks” every day.
A recent survey of 2,000 parents with children aged 5–18, discovered parents sometimes get creative to take a break.
40% admitted to hiding in the bathroom, with 34% pretending to be asleep in order to get away from their kids for a while.
Over 50% of respondents also credited a parent of their own or a grandparent with “saving the day” by taking care of their child.
The survey also found the must-haves for taking care of their kids including snacks, toys, wet wipes, and arts and crafts supplies.
Blankets and towels were also popular among parents, outranking smartphones and tablets, with only 37% of parents saying they are necessary for child minding.
