This'd be ideal to keep the kids (or yourself) happy.

With fast food chains around the country temporarily shut due to the outbreak of coronavirus, many people are missing their favourite treats.

McDonalds was sound enough to release their recipe to make the famous Sausage and Egg McMuffin the other day.

And now another McDonalds delicacy is doing the rounds today, although it's not the official thing.

A woman has released what she believes is a pretty decent substitute for the McFlurry - and you only need three ingredients.

Captioning her snaps on Facebook, the woman wrote: "My homemade cookies and cream ice cream or should I say... Homemade McFlurry!!!!", and went on to list her ingredients and photograph her method.

Ingredients

  • 250ml all purpose cream - any brand but she uses Nestle Cream because of its consistency
  • 216ml condensed milk - any brand
  • Three Oreo cookies - or however many you want.

Method

  1. Mix the all purpose cream and half of the condensed milk together - then taste the mixture - if it is not sweet enough, add the remaining condensed milk.
  2. Place the Oreos into a sandwich bag and crush them using a rolling pin.
  3. Add the crushed cookies to the cream mixture, and combine.
  4. Put the mixture into a plastic container and place into the freezer for 4-5 hours until the mixture is set - also try not to go to the freezer in the meantime
  5. And serve - scoop out each portion and add an Oreo for decoration

Easy as that!
