''We miss you too''.
Fast food chain McDonald's has responded to widespread media coverage, reporting they'll be re-opeing their restaurants in Ireland and the UK in mid May.
Reports from the Irish Farmers Journal have suggested that the restaurant chain plans to reopen limited services including drive-thru and deliveries around the middle of next month.
In response, the company wrote on Twitter: "Well, our notifications are going wild tonight – we miss you too.
"We promise we will update you here as soon as we have confirmed our plans.
"Stay safe, stay at home and we will see you soon."
