Can you hold out for another two months?

Summer is on its way, and so is the next season of Love Island.

Whether you love it or hate it, there's one thing for sure: you can't avoid it.

Once it returns to our screens, Twitter will no doubt be flooded with hilarious tweets and memes.

So, when are we expecting #LoveIsland to become trending again?

Well, an insider has told the Sun newspaper that filming for Love Island begins in 2 weeks' time.

And they also revealed that the show will be on our screens from the 6th of June.

It's to be the series' longest ever season and it’s taking place in a brand new location.

An insider told the Sun, “Love Island is coming back with a bang and it will begin on the second full week in June.

“The schedules are being put together now and fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun from the villa from June 6.

“Filming for the promotional adverts is beginning in the next couple of weeks and the ads will start in May.

“This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting.”

Host Laura Whitmore is back to present the new series, after signing a £500,000 deal last month.
