If you love your Christmas markets, you need to visit these ones.
Love it or hate it, it's that time of year when Christmas markets begin popping up all over the globe.
And while we have some superb ones here in Ireland, including the always impressive Galway markets, sometimes it's fun to jump on a plane to see what other countries have to offer.
At the same time you don't want to be spending a fortune on flights at this time of year, so we thought we'd take a look at place not too far away... London.
London is teaming with festive cheer, and amazing Christmas markets, each one a little different in their own way.
Here are five that we think could be worth a trek over the Irish Sea.
Winter Wonderland Christmas market.
Perhaps the most famous of London's markets, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is one of the biggest in the city.
It boasts the biggest outdoor ice skating rink in the UK along with over 100 stalls full of festive treats.
There's even a Giant Observation Wheel, where you can get a great view of the heart of the city.
Leicester Square Christmas market.
Leicester Square is one of the most iconic spots in the city and every year it transforms into a great Christmas market.
Food and drink, and festive entertainment curated by Udderbelly, the market has it all!
Kingston Christmas Market.
There's been a market at Kingston since the 1200s, so they definitely know how to do it well.
If you like street food, then this is the one for you with a host of festive food and drink available to warm you up on a cold evening.
Greenwich Christmas market.
150 stalls, selling a range of stocking fillers, fashion items, crafts and original artworks.
If you're after some original unique gifts this year, you'll find some gems at this market.
Southbank Centre Winter Market.
There aren't many more scenic spots for a Christmas market than this one.
Southbank Centre's Winter festival on the banks of the Thames is full of delicious cheese-based food, cocktails and mulled wine all underneath the glittering Christmas lights.
You can even catch a lovely Christmas show while you're there.
Speaking of London... we could be sending you there, along with Paris and New York too.
