Awful weather we're having...
So, you've spent the last 18 months working from home because of Covid-19.
And maybe you've not even met your work colleagues yet.
But now... remote working is being phased back - meaning it's time to get back to the office.
So now you have to look presentable from head to toe and have to face into a commute.
WAIT... this also means you'll be faced with small talk.
Small talk essentially is polite conversation about things that don't go too deep.
Things like the weather, your weekend plans or the latest show on Netflix.
Well, apparently the thought of having to do this again is freaking people out.
A new survey has revealed that three quarters of young professionals can't do small talk around the office.
The survey was carried out by LinkedIn as offices around the country re-opened this week.
It found that 75 percent of workers aged between 16 and 34 say they don't know how to conduct themselves in the work environment.
Some 76 percent say they feel their learning experience has been affected by the pandemic.
While almost a third say the have missed out on the chance to learn essential soft skills necessary when starting their careers.
