Yay or nay?
We get it, you love your pet.
But how strong are your boundaries, or do you even have any at all?
According to a recent survey of 2,000 pet owners, 44% of them say they sleep with their pet every night.
Those surveyed had either a cat or a dog and it's fair to say most are besotted with them.
It also found that 22 per cent don't mind sharing meals with their pet, while six per cent even have baths together.
The big one though is that 97 per cent let their pet 'kiss' them.
67 per cent allow theirs on the sofa, with 58 per cent saying their pet even has their own spot, SWNS Digital reports.
Others allow their pet walk mud through the house after going outside, cuddle up with their children and even lick the plates clean after meals.
This has resulted in 40 per cent believing their lives are less hygienic since they got a pet.
While 42 per cent admit their cat or dog 'rules the household'.
The survey by OnePoll for Vileda found that six in 10 people have tried to stop their pet doing ‘unhygienic’ things, but 28 per cent admit they "can’t resist the looks they give them."
