We definitely wouldn't be at chef standard with our cooking.
But we've been pretty confident in the art of microwaving.
That was until today.
TikTok user Isabella Avila, who posts on the account Onlyjayus, uploaded a video and let us in on a little, but significant, life hack.
Starting the video, she says that people sometimes find their food is too hot to eat in some places, but still cold in others.
Well, there's an easy way to fix this apparently.
She said the trick is all in placement.
"You shouldn't actually have your food in the middle of the plate"
"It should be on the edge so it can rotate around and heat evenly."
