Would you be a compelling character?
Apparently lots of people think their lives are so eventful and interesting that it should be made into a book or movie.
While many more believe they're well up for the challenge of writing a book themselves.
A survey done by OnePoll for ThriftBooks found that 55% think their own life is worthy of being made into a book or a movie.
More than half of people (54%) want to share their challenges and how they overcame them.
While a similar percentage consider themselves to be an interesting enough character that they feel their story should be published.
So if people aren't up for writing their own story - who would they like to pen their lives?
Two of the names thrown around were J. K. Rowling and Stephen King.
And what about a movie adaptation and the question of "who'd play you in a movie"?
Popular choices were Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Lopez, Sandra Bullock , Al Pacino, Denzel Washington and the late Chadwick Boseman.
Out of the 2,000 people polled, 15% have started writing a novel, and a mere 6% have gotten halfway through.
Of those who gave up, 40% said they couldn’t come up with an ending while 36% said they got bored with the story or characters.
