What do we think of this??
IT Carlow has launched a summer school for teenagers who want to pursue a career as a social media influencer.
The Sunday Independent reports it'll be funded by the Higher Education Authority.
It will be a week-long course that'll teach teenagers how to build a personal brand.
Dr Irene McCormack has designed the course, and has said they want to bust the myths that influencing isn't a valid career path.
She said people tend to think "that they are self-absorbed and all about 'me', when in fact they are incredibly hard-working, industrious people."
A number of successful influencers are set to teach on the course.
One of them is Lauren Whelan, who has more than 600,000 followers on TikTok.

She said, "I will regularly get comments on my videos saying 'this isn't a real job' but my response is 'well, you do it then'.
"They don't realise how much work goes into it," she added.
Last year, Lauren was selected to front an innovative campaign by the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC).
The closing date for applications for the summer course is the 17th June.
And it's already filled 40 of the 60 places.
