Some solid goals here.
As we approach the end of 2021, we're likely all saying 'good riddance'.
We're probably already totally checked out of this year, and are ready for 2022.
The start of a new year is usually when all our hopes and dreams at their most ambitious.
Many of us will pick out resolutions that we totally intend to keep - yet they seem to be the same every year.
You know the usuals - joining a gym, learning a musical instrument or starting a diet.
And only a small number of people are actually content with their current skillset, according to a recent survey anyway.
Just 15% of 2,000 said they're happy with the level of skills they already have.
So what about the rest - what do they wanna learn?
Well, musical instruments ranked of course, with most wanting to learn to play the guitar.
As well as that, many people wanted to become fluent in another language - a very practical one we think.
Most people want to improve their artistic skills, feeling it'd help their mental health.
While 32 per cent also said having a skill or hobby to concentrate on would help them switch off from day-to-day life.
Sseven in 10 said they struggle with this, taking longer than an hour to relax once home from work.
The research was commissioned in conjunction with the launch of Fender’s Beginner’s Hub.
